A brief history of The Seraphim Rising…

It began with a recording session the summer of 2008. I went to Matt’s house and he set up some mics and we tracked some tunes. We also drank the first absinthe. Sunny joined the project on guitar and we played our first show at the Coffee Connection a couple months later. We weren’t The Seraphim Rising yet. Gordon completed the band on drums. We played our first electric show at Theater 150 April 2009 … The Seraphim Rising was born. We spent the next year jamming, performing and writing new songs. Then we were off to Swing House to record Life In Suspension which released digitally on Halloween, 2011. That was followed by a Kickstarter campaign to release CD’s, posters and T-shirts in 2012. We took the dream.
